The International Pilgrims Congress (IPC) at the Peñafrancia Basilica in the City of Naga on September 16-17, 2010 will highlight the 300 year old gift of devotion to Ina, Our Lady of Peñafrancia.
The diaconal ordination is in order for nine theologians from the Holy Rosary Major Seminary at the Metropolitan Cathedral in St. John the Evangelist parish in the City of Naga at 9:00 in the morning of July 3, 2010.
About three or five new parishes will be established in the Archdiocese of Caceres before the year is over and even as nine home-grown seminarians will be ordained deacons, the Archdiocese has four priests on loan to other dioceses in the region while a number are on mission work in foreign lands to underscore its mission aid program.
